Dominic Cookman

Dominic joined the Robinson + McGuiness team in November 2025.

He holds a Master of Laws and Bachelor of Economics from the Australian National University and was admitted to practice in 2009. Prior to joining Robinson + McGuiness, Dominic practiced in Migration law and Civil Litigation.

Dominic has always enjoyed helping people find solutions to complicated legal problems and looks forward to the opportunity to further assist clients in family law.

Dominic has previously been Chair of the ACT Law Society’s Access to Justice Committee, as well as a board member of both the ACT Disability, Aged and Carer Advocacy Service (ADACAS) and Canberra Community Law.
