Ellen Russell

Ellen graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (Economics) with Distinction and also holds a Master of Applied Law (Family Law) from the College of Law. She has worked almost exclusively in family law for 10 years.

Ellen has experience in a broad range of family law matters, from complex financial and parenting disputes including interstate and international relocation, Hague Convention matters and matters involving allegations of family violence, including criminal charges.

Ellen’s approach to family law disputes is strategic and pragmatic. She prides herself on having a high attention to detail and taking time to understand her client’s needs. Ellen is approachable and empathetic. She understands that no two family law matters are the same and is focused on achieving a result that is best suited to her clients and their circumstances.
