Peta Sutton has been a valued member of the Robinson + McGuinness team since its inception in 2015. Upon completing her legal studies at the University of Canberra in 2017 and being admitted as a Solicitor of the ACT Supreme Court in October 2017, Peta has commenced her legal career at R+M practicing exclusively in the family law and estates jurisdictions.
During her studies, Peta was awarded the Minter Ellison prize for Litigation and Dispute Resolution and the Women Lawyers Association prize for Women and the Law.
Peta is hard working, committed and applies a high level of attention to detail to all tasks that she undertakes. She prides herself on being organised, thorough and efficient. Peta has developed strong relationships with clients of the firm throughout her time at R+M. She has a keen interest in estate matters and complex property matters.
Peta is a member of the communications subcommittee of the Women Lawyers Association of the ACT and a member of the Canberra Region Family Law Professionals Association.
