Haydn Marsh combines a comprehensive knowledge of family law with a commitment to alternative dispute resolution while striving to achieve the best results for his clients. Prior to joining Robinson + McGuinness in 2016 Haydn worked for an international commercial law firm gaining experience across a number of practice areas including contract law, employment law and litigation. Haydn brings insights from his experience in commercial practice to assist his clients, particularly those with complex financial arrangements seeking guidance about their property settlements following separation.
Haydn graduated from the Australian National University with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons), Bachelor of Arts and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, having also been awarded the Blackburn Medal for Legal Research.
Following his graduation Haydn worked as the Legal Associate to the Deputy Chief Justice of the Family Court of Australia, gaining a unique insight into the role of the Court and the application of the law across all areas of family law, including in complex children and property matters.
In 2015, Haydn returned to the ANU College of Law as a Sessional Academic to teach in the University’s undergraduate family law course.
Haydn is a fully accredited mediator, a committee member of the Canberra Region Family Law Professionals Association, a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, a member of the ACT Law Society and is listed on the High Court of Australia’s Register of Practitioners.
